Tornados, Hail, Rain, Thunder, Lightening

What a weird day for weather. We dropped 30 degrees in a matter of days. Thursday morning we wake up to some light showers and by the afternoon the sun had periods of breaking through the clouds. About 3pm it became super dark outside and by 4pm it started raining harder and harder. Next thing I know we have sheets of water and hail falling from the sky.

This planter is about 3 1/2" deep and it was over flowing with in minutes. Next we had thunder and lightening. This really scared Seth and Larissa, we just don't get that kind of weather here.

Here you can see how much hail we received, that slide bottom is about 6 - 7" tall.

We also had a couple tornados hit Moreno Valley, yes tornados!!! Here is a slideshow on a news site to view it. Click Here The tornado knocked over a semi-truck and sheared off the roof of the cabin, it also knocked over some rail cars.
Over 8 hours later and my front yard is still covered in ice/hail. It was definitely an evenful day and one we won't forget for awhile.
