Yesterday we had to put our dog Bosco down. It is so hard loosing a pet and it is very hard watching your young children mourn the loss of a pet and learn about death first hand. We lost our cat Lucy in October and that was the first experience my kids had with death. It was unbelievably hard.
Yesterday after Brent and Poppy took Bosco to the vet Kirstine said to me through tears, "At least Bosco will get to be with Lucy now Mom."
