Grandma Bonnie

Grandma Bonnie came for a visit again this month.  She was able to be here for Brent's birthday celebration and we took her all over and showed her South Central Texas.  The best part was she was able to stay for almost a whole week.

We started out her visit to Texas with a 4-state Lawn Mower Race Championships!!!  What else right?  Only in Texas.  The races were silly but fun and is a great example of all the fun, unique, inexpensive, family friendly things there are to do in Texas.

While Grandma was here and the kids were in school we took her to a really cool little city, Marble Falls. It is a beautiful place about 75 mins north of San Antonio and 60 mins west of Austin, right in the middle of Hill Country.  We walked around some really cool shops and had lunch over the river.

Unfortunately I didn't do better taking photos over the week.  We did have a wonderful time and the kids enjoyed their Grandma very much and were sad when she had to leave.
