Seeing Mom on the ground in pain scared Larissa so she ran upstairs to get Grandma. By the time my mom found me I had drug myself back up into the house and was laying on the floor. I crawled over to the couch and pulled myself up so I could lay down. The pain was excruciating. My left ankle hurt so bad that I didn't even notice my right ankle had been hurt too. My dad checked my left ankle and said it was already swelling pretty bad so off to the urgent care we went.
I had X-rays taken and thankfully nothing was broke. The doctor told me to ice it, take 600mg of Ibuprofen, keep the air brace on, and stay off of it for a minimum of two weeks... it is a very bad sprain. My left ankle is still hurting so bad that I still don't notice the pain in my right.

We go home and I hang out in the recliner for a few hours before getting up the nerve to climb the stairs to go to bed. As soon as I put my weight on my right ankle I am reminded that I injured that ankle too and it bring tears to my eyes to put my full weight on it. What do I do though, my left ankle is a complete mess and in a brace, putting any weight on that ankle knocks me down? I had no choice but to fight through the pain and drag my fanny upstairs and to bed.
20 hours after all this happened I am in bed where I plan on staying unless absolutely necessary. Because it was Kirstine's shoes that were in the wrong place and caused all of this she is my minion. My right ankle has a knot on it the size of a baseball and hurts. My left ankle hurts from my toes up into my shin is swollen all around and is now turning a nice shade of purple.

| The whole time the doctor was examining me I kept thinking, at least my toes are painted and my legs are shaved. LOL |
