For Brent's birthday this year my parents took Brent to a restaurant called
Chama Gaucha. Brent went there last Christmas for a work party and has talked about it ever since. It is a Brazilian Steakhouse but it is not just your average steakhouse! As soon as you are seated there are coaster like cards at each place setting. One side is red and the other side is green, when they seat you all the coasters are red. Because Brent had been there before he flipped his coaster over to green before everyone had sat down and a rush of men carrying spits of meat (beef, pork, chicken, & lamb) rushed over to him, placed a plate in front of him and carved off pieces of meat on to his plate. The rest of us just sat there dumbstruck wondering what in the heck just happened. There is no placing an order, looking over a menu, you sit down and you need to be ready to eat. It was actually a little overwhelming at first. The meat was amazing and it keeps coming until you turn your coaster back over to red.
Aside from the amazing meat there is a marvelous salad bar... not your Sizzler type salad bar either. There are all sorts of cheeses, mushrooms, artichokes, asparagus, cumber salad, pasta salads, seafood salad, I could keep going.
You leave Chama Gaucha stuffed to the brim!
