Hannah had a very special day with Grandma Susan and she worked very hard to make it happen. On January 6th just 5 days before Wicked left L.A. Grandma Susan took Hannah to try and get tickets for the show. There were no tickets available for sale because it was so close to the final night so Hannah and Grandma got up to the theater 5 hours before the show started to try and win tickets in the lottery. Unfortunately they didn't win tickets but they were able to get tickets by being numbers 9 and 10 in line for any cancelations. They ended up with excellent seats in the orchestra section. While sitting in line for 5 hours hoping to get in they made friends with a security guard who promised to get them backstage and get autographs after the show.

Here is Hannah's version of the day in her own words:
My grandma picked me up it took us an hour to get to Hollywood. When we got there there was people in line to get tickets. They were there at 12:00 and the show started at 8:00... so my Grandma had me make a decision, I said I wanted to wait in line for 5 hours instead of sightseeing. So we waited in line for the cancellation line, that means for people that cancel their tickets, we made friends in line. A few hours later we tried the lottery but we did not win. So in the next 2 hours, waiting in the cancellation line, I learned how to play Black Jack with other people in line. Well of course I was bored in those hours. Almost an hour later this girl and I made friends with the security guard. He said when you get in after the show the girl & I will get to go back stage and meet the actors. We finally got in, I was so excited. We got row "J" orchestra seats. When it was intermission I thought it was over but my Grandma said no it's not. My Grandma then took me to by a Wicked shirt. So when it was over we went to get autographs. After that I went back stage to meet Glinda the Good. Then we went home at 12:00 am. I am very thankful my Grandma took me.
