Wild Animal Park

We bought San Diego Zoo passes and Wild Animal Park passes this year. I figured Larissa is a good age to enjoy it now.

We went to the W.A.P. yesterday just to see their Butterfly & Orchid exhibit. Four years ago we went to the butterfly exhibit at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum and Hannah and Kirstine loved it so we were excited to go again. We had to wait in line for about 30 minutes to get into the exhibit but it was well worth it. Once you are inside butterflies are everywhere, they run into you and land on you, you have to be careful where you walk so you don't step on one. The colors of the butterflies are amazing. Hannah, Kirstine, and Seth took off, once we got inside, to look at all the butterflies and I held Larissa while Dad snapped pictures. Larissa was too funny because she kept holding her arm out hoping a butterfly would land on her arm. Unfortunately one didn't land on her arm but to Larissa's surprise one landed here...

Butterfly On Head

You can tell by Larissa's expression that she was shocked!!!

I'll put more pictures up on our website in about a week! We had a wonderful time and the drive down there and the wait in line is worth it.
