Sisters

"A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost." - Marion C. Garretty

I have the two best sisters in the world!!!  We may be far apart in age or where we are in the stages of our lives or even where we live in the world but no matter what we love each other so much!!!

Tahnee my middle sister is 5 years younger than me.  We grew up loving and fighting with each other.  We have some crazy memories with each other.  Making up dance routines to 'Material Girl', Fisher Price tape recorders, puppet shows, broken stained glass windows, curtain rods, Grubby, schedules, Barbies, and pie dough.  More often than not we know what the other is thinking before we say it.  Just 5-months ago Tahnee made me a biological aunt for the first time!!!  What a joy that is.  I never thought I could love another child as much as my own but becoming an aunt to my sister's child taught me differently.

Then their is my baby sister, Leva Grace... Gracie.  She is 13 1/2 years younger than me.  Because of the age difference we didn't have a typical sister relationship growing up.  For the first 5-years of Grace's life I pretty much played house with her.  I took her everywhere I went as a teenager.  Most of the time people thought she was mine.  I loved to show her off to my friends.  Brent and I would catch the city bus with her and spend the day at Disneyland.  I loved doing her hair and dressing her up.  She was my little girl.  Now that we are older we have an extremely close relationship, the 13 1/2 year age difference doesn't even seem to exist.

The three of us are extremely close.  When we get get together it is just craziness.  We get the rest of the room laughing, whether it is because they find us genuinely funny or just plain weird.  Most of the time though our jokes are only shared and understood between the three of us.

Today Mom asked us to take some photos so she could hang a picture of "her 3-girls" up in her new house. So the 3 of us and Brent went to the park and did our own photo shoot.  We had a blast.  It was the most fun I have had in a long time, we took more off the wall photos than serious ones.
