The week before school started Grandma Bonnie (Brent's mom) came for her first visit to San Antonio. It has been 13-months since any of us, besides Larissa, had seen her. We were all so excited for her to visit, especially the kids. The only hard part for the kids with our move is not having all three sets of Grandparents within an hour from us.
We spent most of our time with Granmda Bonnie showing her all around San Antonio and showing her the things we enjoy doing.

Her first full day in Texas we went to downtown San Antonio and spent the afternoon at the Alamo, River Walk, and River Center mall. It was hot but still a lot of fun.

One of the days she was here we decided to head to the river and cool off. Of course the days Grandma Bonnie was here were the hottest days of the summer. One day we hit 101!

The kids really enjoyed having Grandma here, we all did, and were sad she couldn't stay longer. She's promised though that next time she comes she is bringing Grandpa!
