Art Walk

A couple weeks ago I received two letters from the art teacher telling me that Hannah and Kirstine's art had been selected to be displayed at the PTA meeting.  Two to three kids from each class in each grade were picked by the art teacher because she feels that they display an extra talent in art.  I was one very proud mama to have my two girls chosen.  They definitely get any artistic talent from Brent and his side of the family, it doesn't come from me.

After the PTA meeting the kids went up on stage in groups of 3 holding their art and then walked around the cafeteria so everyone could see.  Kirstine is so shy and gets so nervous but she did great and smiled the whole time.

Here are both girls holding their artwork that their art teacher chose for them to display.  It is hard to see but Kirstine's project is made out of colored wire with beading (very detailed) and Hannah's is a face made out of all sorts of different fruits.

What a proud mommy moment. They really are talented.
I am laughing at Seth below when you said you found out he was afraid of heights :)
