Hannah's Birthday Celebration

Leading up to Hannah's birthday most of the family ended up with the stomach flu. Thankfully Hannah had it two days before her birthday and not the day of her birthday. Unfortunately Grandma Cheryl was too sick to go to Disneyland with Hannah for her birthday so Dad stepped in and went. Brent hasn't had a pass in a year and a half so he decided it was time to break down and buy one.

Here at home the weather was beautiuful but when we got to Orange County it was raining cats and dogs. We think that going to Disneyland when it rains is the best time to go because there is hardly anyone there so we didn't mind the wet weather.

We got Hannah her Disney gift card for her birthday, she was extra excited because she got $10 more than her brother and sister get because at the ripe old age of 10 Disney considers you an adult, meaning she gets a gift card in the amount of an adult ticket price and not a child now. So Hannah ended up with $69 to spend.

Because of the rain we walked on every ride. What took 40 mins a week earlier on Teen's birthday took 10 mins. We were able to do most of the "big" rides at Disneyland and still go play at California Adventure.

Hannah had a great day. She ended up buying a pin, ring, and a hat, she is wearing it in the picture below, and still has $27 left to spend. We may have got wet but we had a wonderful time. I will say though I have had enough of Disneyland for awhile, I have been 4 times in the last 2 weeks. I am done until Larissa has her birthday at the end of the month.
